Overall system efficiency through flexibility
Professional sterilization of medical devices in the CSSD can be optimized by adapting the loading and unloading of batch trolleys to individual customer requirements.
By using different sizing and section arrangements for the loading and unloading systems, Belimed can increase efficiency and throughput in sterile reprocessing. Any combination is possible (loading & unloading; loading only or unloading only) with or without accumulation sections. An efficient overall system can be specifically tailored to the requirements of each hospital project. For example, cooling sections can be integrated so the instruments can be stored directly after reprocessing.
Throughput optimization
Accumulation lines serve as a buffer for temporary storage of batch carts, thus increasing the capacity of the loading and unloading system. Different configurations are possible on both the loading and unloading side. The continuous and automatic loading of the steam sterilizers with a filled accumulation line means eliminates “dead times” during reprocessing and avoiding downtime. A customized solution allows CSSD employees more flexibility and time for other activities. Belimed's loading and unloading systems and accumulation lines not only have a robust design and construction but can also be removed for maintenance or cleaning at any time with minimal effort.
Adaptation to batch trolleys
Loading and unloading systems are typically designed to suit the usage of the load carriers or batch trolleys in the hospital to increase throughput and save time. Coupled batch trolleys can be transported on the loading and unloading sections of steam sterilizers, which are automatically separated again before being transferred to the transport trolley.
